Benefits of Peppermint Tea.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita), also known as mint is widely used around the world. Perhaps those who enjoy drinking tea even prefer mint among the many tea choices we have on the market. So why people like mint tea? Below are some of the reasons why.
It has a menthol feel that soothes we while and after drinking. It has a calming effect which is good for people under a lot of stress or perhaps with headaches, even. Just the scent of this tea would immediately calm your nerves.
It’s also a good breath refresher so bye-bye bad breath (as long as you’re drinking the tea, of course).
It is also believed that peppermint tea helps regulate bowel movement and indigestion. If you have concerns regarding your stomach, you may drink a cup of peppermint tea as your first aid. 
It has properties that may help boost our immune system. They do contain Vitamin B, potassium and calcium. And because of this, some believe that peppermints may also ward off the common colds. 
For those who are interested in losing weight, drinking this tea may also help since mint may help lower our food cravings. 
Amazing isn’t it? What peppermint can do to our bodies. But take caution in drinking this powerful tea as with anything else, too much is not good to our health. Enjoy!
